* Spacious interior; powerful and fuel-efficient V6; pleasant ride; innovative interior storage; well equipped. Source: Edmunds
* The 2014 Toyota Venza has an exciting stylish look with a wide, athletic stance that stands out from other crossovers on the road. Its stunning exterior styling includes sleek lines, a stylish upper and lower grille, and modern looking fog lamps and taillights. Further, it incorporates the higher seating position of a crossover and good outward vision. It is very convenient for the elderly and smaller adults to get in and out as well due to its low step-in height. The 2014 Venza is offered in 3 trims: the base LE, the mid range XLE, and the top level Limited. A 2.7-Liter, 4-Cylinder, 181 Horsepower engine is standard on the LE and XLE, but is unavailable on the Limited. As an alternative, a 3.5-Liter, V6 engine with 268 Horsepower is standard on the Limited and an available option on the lower 2 trims. Whatever engine options you go with, they are both paired with a 6-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission. While Front-wheel drive comes standard, Toyota offers all-wheel drive as an option on all Venza trims. Fuel economy is almost the same on all its trim and drivetrain combinations, but the 4-Cylinder Front-wheel drive is the best performer with an EPA estimated 21 MPG City and 27 MPG Highway. The 2014 Toyota Venza has an interior that is big in all directions and features generous head and leg room. Based on the trim you select, comfortable seating options include cloth or leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a power drivers seat with power lumbar support. The Venza offers an impressive 70.2 cubic feet of cargo space. Plus, it features one-touch fold-flat levers located in the cargo area for the rear seats. New for 2014, you get power-folding side mirrors if you opt for the XLE or Limited trims, and front and rear parking sensors on the Limited. Standard safety features include 7 airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, a tire pressure monitor system, and much more. Drive the 2014 Toyota Venza Today! Source: The Manufacturer Summary
Featuring an up-market look with standard 19- or optional 20-inch rims, the Venza comes equipped with over 70 cubic feet of cargo space, a nicely styled interior and plenty of standard equipment. The Venza is available in three trim levels; LE, XLE and Limited. Two engines are available, a 181-horsepower 4-cylinder and a 268-horsepower V6. Both engines can be equipped with either front or all-wheel drive drivetrains and both are controlled by a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Buyers who don't need many luxury features, but want to take advantage of the extra power of a V6 and extra traction of all-wheel-drive, will find the standard LE is available starting at only $31,000 in this configuration. The base LE trim Venza with a 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive starts at $28,000, still comes packed with standard features, many of which would be perfectly at home in today's luxury vehicles. Features include an 8-way power adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control with second-row vents, an LCD multi-informational display, a tilting and telescoping steering wheel with audio controls and side mirrors equipped with turn signals. The standard Display Audio system includes a 6.1-inch touch screen and is capable of playing MP3s. It has six speakers and is able to interface with external music devices through an auxiliary audio jack, a USB port or via Bluetooth. Bluetooth can also be used for hands-free telephone calls and phone book access. The LE can be optioned up with the Convenience Package, which comes with a power lift-gate and a backup camera or the Preferred Package which adds a glass sunroof and an upgraded audio system with navigation and Toyota's Entune smartphone integration. XLE Venzas are even better equipped. The front passenger seat features 4-way power adjustability while the driver's seat has a memory function. Both front seats feature multi-stage heating and all seating surfaces are leather trimmed. Electronic options include a JBL Synthesis stereo with navigation and Entune, a smart key system with push button start, a power rear liftgate, a backup camera and an anti-theft system with an alarm and an engine immobilizer. Limited Venzas are available with V6 power only and include all of the standard features of the XLE along with the 13-speaker JBL audio system, 20-inch alloys and a moonroof. The Limited also gets HID headlights, daytime running lights and automatic headlight dimmers, capable of sensing oncoming traffic and automatically changing the headlights to low-beam mode. Safety in the Venza is aided by the vehicles low center of gravity when compared to many SUVs. However standard safety devices include anti-lock brakes, traction control and electronic stability control. The Venza has seven airbags and an active head restraint system, which uses cables to push the headrests forward and upward if the vehicle is hit from behind, limiting the potentially harmful effects of whiplash.
